Final Game Week before the international beckons upon us this weekend. Both teams have played some exquisite stuff this year yet the fortunes have ended differently. Everton are joint top in the League with a 100% record in the first three games while Brighton recorded a solo victory away at Newcastle United while losing agonizingly to Manchester United and Chelsea.
Will Brighton abrupt Everton’s 100% start or Carlo’s boys will continue a fairytale start? All this is answered in Everton vs Brighton Preview below:
Preview:
Everton:
With a morale-boosting victory away at Tottenham, Everton carried that momentum and have returned with 6 victories in all competitions with an aggregate of 20 goals to 6. Everything at the club looks in a positive direction and it looks to be heading for an amazing season for Everton fans.
Dominic Calvert Lewin has scored 5 goals so far in the League and his tally will only increase with the form Everton side are in. All new signings have settled well and the Everton side looks very structured and organized at the beginning of the season.
Carlo Ancelotti will not want to throw it away and will root his side to make it four out of four.
Brighton:
Everyone had Brighton as favorites to get relegated. They did not splash massively in the transfer window which created doubt about their chance of survival but the first three games have killed all the doubts about the ability this team possesses.
Adam Lallana and Tariq Lamptey have proved to be shrewd business by the Brighton scouting team and management. For a mere transfer fee of 3.3 Million, Brighton have got two amazing players who would be key for their survival bid this season. Lamptey has taken everyone by surprise and his face-off against Lucas Digne could decide the outcome of this match.
Brighton put in an amazing performance against two top sides in Manchester United and Chelsea but came short due to defensive lapses and missed chances. They did thrash Newcastle United away from home and will look to build on that when they take on Everton away from home comforts.
Injury News:
Everton suffered some injury problems in the Carabao Cup with Jonjoe Kenny, RIcharlison and Allan all getting minor injuries in the match. As per the manager Carlo Ancelotti, Richarlison might be fit for the Brighton encounter but the other two will find it difficult to be fit for the match. Mason Holgate remains the long term absentee.
Davy Propper, Jose Izquierdo, and Florin Andone are all long-term absentee for Brighton but Graham Potter will be boosted with the return of Yves Bissouma after he served his suspension.
Predicted 11:
Everton will be expected to play with the same side that has started the season in an exquisite manner. The only change Everton will be forced to make could be Sigurdsson for injured Allan.
Everton Predicted 11
Brighton will likely go with the same line up that hit the post 5 times against a star-studded United side in the previous Game Week. With no home away advantage anymore due to crowd restrictions, Brighton will go with an attacking combination in my opinion.

Amazing Facts:
Since getting promoted in 2017, Brighton have not been able to come with anything away from Goodison Park. Its been three losses with an aggregate of 1 goal to 6 by Everton. Will the wretched run improve this Saturday? We will find out.
Richarlison has scored 3 goals in his last 4 games when faced off against Brighton Re-guard.
Prediction:
This could be an enticing match where two very good sides collide against one another. Predicting was the hardest part of this Everton vs Brighton Preview but in my opinion, this could be a high scoring game where Everton will outscore Brighton.
Everton shall overcome Brighton 3-2.
Everton vs Brighton Prediction
Brighton have scored 6 goals in their 3 League games while Everton have put 8 past their opponents. With Calvert Lewin and Maupay both in great form, goals from both shall be expected in this amazing encounter. Everton will miss Allan and their midfield might be more exposed due to this reason which could lead to Brighton chipping in with a couple of goals in the encounter. But the attacking quality of Richarlison, James Rodriguez, and Calvert Lewin could be too much to handle for a leaky Brighton defense and therefore Everton will outscore Brighton and win this high-scoring encounter.
